Human foosball is like the table game foosball, but with real people. Players hold on to giant horizontal poles and try to kick a football into a large goal. At this event, 254 people took part.

The event was held to celebrate the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Ontario’s sport minister, Neil Lumsden, said football is about teamwork, energy and shared experiences. He said human foosball brought those ideas to life in a fun way.

Guinness World Records confirmed that the event set a new record. The giant game gave players and spectators a memorable sporting moment.
