Liverpool were crowned Premier League champions on Sunday after a resounding 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.The triumph secured Liverpool’s 20th English league title, drawing them level with long-time rivals Manchester United.

New manager Arne Slot, in his debut season, guided the team to glory, becoming the first Dutch coach to win the Premier League. Liverpool only needed a point to clinch the title but produced a dominant performance to delight their supporters.

After falling behind early, Liverpool responded with goals from Luis Díaz, Alexis Mac Allister, and Cody Gakpo before half-time.
Mohamed Salah added a fourth after the break, before a Tottenham own-goal completed the rout.

Celebrations erupted inside Anfield, with Salah even taking a selfie in front of the famous Kop stand after scoring.
Slot praised former manager Jurgen Klopp for the strong foundation he inherited, acknowledging Klopp’s lasting impact on the team.

This title marks Liverpool’s first league triumph since 2020 and strengthens their status among England’s footballing elite.
