A nine-year-old boy from Kentucky in the United States broke a Guinness World Record by drawing and completing a ten-square hopscotch course in less than fifty seconds. Daxton Hunter, from Bowling Green, said he wanted his own world record after watching his dad and older brother each earn theirs.
Hunter researched different possible records before deciding to try the fastest time to draw and complete a hopscotch run. He managed to sketch the course, number each square, and hop his way through it in just 48.27 seconds, which was fast enough to claim the official record in the under-16s category.
His mother, Amelia Hunter, said she always believed her son could achieve his goal because he loved tackling difficult challenges. She said that once Daxton set his mind on something, she knew he would see it through, and his hopscotch success proved exactly that.
