Boy wears 50 Sweaters at once

A 7-year-old boy from Pennsylvania has broken a Guinness World Record by wearing 50 sweaters at once. Skyler Rozell-Whitaker completed the challenge on June 1 at Monroeville Public Library in the United States. The attempt took place in the library’s Children’s Room.

Skyler was trying to set the record for the most sweaters worn at the same time. Guinness World Records later checked the evidence from the attempt. It confirmed that his total of 50 sweaters beat the previous record of 46.

The library shared the news on social media after the challenge. Wearing so many sweaters at once would have been a difficult and unusual task. Skyler’s achievement shows how a fun idea can become a world record.

The sweaters used in the challenge will not go to waste. Monroeville Public Library said they will be donated to its annual sweater drive in the autumn. This means the record-breaking jumpers will also help people in the community.
