High Street in Melbourne, Australia, has been crowned “the coolest street in the world” for 2024 by Time Out, a famous guide that tells us about fun places to visit.

This street is special because it runs through some lively areas called Northcote, Thornbury, and Preston. People like it because you can find all sorts of neat shops and fun things to do there.

If you’re in the mood for some tasty Portuguese pastries, you can visit Casa Nata. For those who enjoy trying different kinds of wine, Northside Wines is the place to be. And if dancing the night away sounds fun, Francesca’s Bar is where you might end up. High Street is known for its mix of old-fashioned stores, trendy cafes, a place where food trucks gather, and even a small, independent movie theater.

Even though it might sound typical to say “there’s something for everyone,” that’s exactly what people think about High Street. It’s a place where lots of different activities and shops come together to create a fun and inviting atmosphere.

In addition to High Street, Time Out also listed other cool streets around the world, including places in Hong Kong, Austin, Buenos Aires, Vancouver, Kuala Lumpur, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Barcelona. Each of these streets has its own unique charm, making them interesting places to explore.

Earlier, another famous publication, the Washington Post, mentioned Auckland’s Karangahape Road as one of the most exciting places to check out. This street was also recognized by Time Out in 2022, showing that there are many cool streets all over the world worth visiting.
