Australia secured its second consecutive Fast5 Netball World Series title with a decisive 35-23 victory over New Zealand in the final in Christchurch.

The Australian team displayed a commanding performance from the outset, with strong presence across all areas of the court.

Georgie Horjus, leading the Australian shooters, dominated from the two-point zone. The defensive duo of captain Matilda Garrett and Ervin O’Shannassy effectively shut down New Zealand’s scoring ability, particularly from the two-point zone.

Despite a brief resistance from New Zealand in the second quarter, Australia maintained control throughout the match. Matilda Garrett was named player of the match. In the battle for the bronze medal, England defeated South Africa 30-22.
