Selena Gomez has officially joined the billionaire club, thanks to her successful makeup brand, Rare Beauty.

The 32-year-old singer and actress has amassed a fortune of $1.3 billion, with her cosmetics company being the main contributor to her wealth, according to Bloomberg.

Gomez founded Rare Beauty in 2020, and it has quickly become a major player in the beauty industry. Known for promoting self-confidence and mental health, the brand has pledged to raise $100 million for mental health awareness.

Despite her newfound billionaire status, Gomez has shared that her main goal was never just to make money. She expressed that focusing solely on numbers could distract her from the values that make Rare Beauty special.

With over 400 million followers on Instagram and partnerships with brands like Puma and Louis Vuitton, Gomez’s influence continues to grow. However, she insists she has no plans to sell Rare Beauty, emphasising that her passion remains with the brand she created.
