World’s loudest female burp

Kimberly “Kimycola” Winter, a woman from Maryland, has achieved a Guinness World Record for the loudest burp (female) after letting out a belch that measured 107 decibels. Winter’s unusual talent was discovered through her YouTube and TikTok channels, where she often showcases her booming belches, and her viewers encouraged her to pursue the world record.

To meet Guinness World Records’ requirements, Winter had to have her burp measured in a soundproofed room. She attempted the record live on the air during iHeartRadio’s Elliot in the Morning show. Guinness World Records confirmed that Winter broke a record that had stood for about 14 years, and her burp’s volume was measured at 107 decibels, similar to the noise level of a motorcycle at full throttle.

Winter prepared for her record attempt by experimenting with different foods and beverages. On the day of the attempt, she had coffee and beer with her breakfast to ensure the maximum belch volume. While Winter’s record was just shy of the male version of the record, set by Australian Neville Sharp in 2021 at 112.7 decibels, her achievement in the female category is now recognized by Guinness World Records.
