Romanian Pianist Smashes Record with 500 Piano Key Hits in 30 Seconds!
Thurzó Zoltán, a lightning-fast pianist from Romania, has unofficially broken the Guinness World Record for the most piano key hits in 30 seconds. Zoltán managed a mind-blowing 500 key hits in half a minute, just barely beating the previous record of 495 hits set by Japanese pianist Keita Hattori in December 2023.
Zoltán’s record attempt wasn’t just about speed—it was a heartfelt tribute. He performed the feat in Biharia village on October 23, in memory of his mother, Thurzó Margit Terézia, who passed away on the same day in 2023. Zoltán dedicated this achievement to her, honoring her legacy with his incredible talent and dedication.
This isn’t his first impressive record, either! Zoltán previously set Guinness World Records for the highest-altitude grand piano performance at 19,024 feet and for the longest marathon piano performance by an individual, playing for a jaw-dropping 130 hours!
Now, the evidence of Zoltán’s finger-blurring attempt is being submitted to Guinness for official verification. If confirmed, his achievement will hit a high note in the record books, adding yet another remarkable milestone to his career!
