Hey there, Pokemon fans! Guess what? The streets in Las Vegas are getting a super cool and magical makeover. Developers are finding it really tricky to come up with new and exciting names for all the new streets popping up in our city. So, they’ve turned to a fantastic source of inspiration—Pokemon!
According to Harmony Homes LLC construction manager Andrea Miller, naming streets in this town is no easy task. They have to come up with two unique names for every street! That’s a lot of names to think of, right? Luckily, Miller found the perfect solution—Pokemon names!
Miller’s kids are big fans of Pokemon and they helped her find the most awesome names from the Generation One Pokemon. Can you imagine living on a street named after your favorite Pokemon? How cool would it be to have streets like Jigglypuff Lane, Squirtle Street, and Snorlax Lane right here in Las Vegas?
Miller shared, “When I hear Jigglypuff, I giggle. When you’re coming home from work and you had a bad day and you have to turn on Jigglypuff Lane, that will make you smile.” Isn’t that amazing? Just imagine the smiles and laughter that these Pokemon-inspired street names will bring to everyone who lives here!
But wait, there’s more! Did you know that Pokemon names can be found in other surprising places too? In 2021, scientists discovered three new species of Australian beetles and decided to name them after the legendary bird Pokemon—Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos. Isn’t that mind-blowing? It just shows how much Pokemon has inspired people all around the world!
So, get ready to explore our magical Las Vegas streets with Pokemon names. Every corner will be filled with wonder and excitement. Remember, when you’re walking on Jigglypuff Lane or Squirtle Street, you’re stepping into a real-life Pokemon adventure!
