India has hammered New Zealand in the deciding T20 Cricket International in Ahmedabad..

India beat the Black Caps by 168 runs in the most one-sided game of the 3-match series.

India dominated from the start. They won the toss and then opener Shubman Gill hit 126 off 63 balls as the home side reached 234 for four in their 20 overs. It was India’s fifth highest total in T20 international cricket.

Needing two runs a ball, New Zealand were never in the contest with the top four batters failing to reach double figures. The Black Caps were 22 for five before Daryl Mitchell managed to help his side limp through to the 13th over before being bowled out for 66.

The Black Caps now return home for a test series against England.
