Gravity-defying cats, gurning donkeys, and flapping dogs featured in this year’s Comedy Pet Photo Awards.

The top prize went to Sarah Haskell for her photo titled “Not just for the cats!” showing a dog squeezing through a small cat flap.

The competition was tight, with entries including headless horses, dancing dogs, and more. Haskell expressed her delight at winning, saying, “I am tremendously proud to be a winner.”

In its fifth year, this annual competition highlights the positive and vital role pets play in our lives. Six judges selected the winner based on “technical excellence” and “amusing content and caption.”
