Champions League

Finally, after the 2 month break, the Champions League is back.

On Wednesday the first matches in the Round of 16 took place. First was Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool, and it was the one of the few matches Liverpool have lost the entire season. Madrid made a quick start with a goal in the 5 minute, and held on for the rest of the game to win 1-0.

The second match on Wednesday was Dortmund beating PSG 2-1, once again new signing 21 year-old Erling Haaland scoring a double to win the game for Dortmund. On Thursday, another game was Atalanta vs Valencia, Atalanta stunning Valencia 4-1, even though they were behind on the shots count.

The last game on Thursday was Tottenham losing to RB Leipzig 1-0, the star Timo Werner putting away a penalty for his team Leipzig to score the only goal of the game. Next Wednesday and Thursday are another 4 matches, including Real Madrid vs Man City, and also Chelsea vs Bayern.
