Letter to the Editor – Virat Kohli will inspire Kiwi kids

Dear Editor,

I am writing to suggest that Virat Kohli should get his own feature article on Kiwi Kids News so young New Zealanders can be inspired by his story.
Firstly, Virat Kohli is one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the sport. He holds incredible world records, including scoring the most One Day International centuries ever. Sharing his journey would give young Kiwis a firsthand look at what it takes to reach the absolute pinnacle of global sport.

Secondly, his story is about much more than cricket; it is about hard work and resilience. Kohli is famous for his intense fitness routine and his ability to perform under extreme pressure. Reading about his dedication could inspire New Zealand kids to dream big and work hard in their own lives, whether in sports, school, or hobbies.

When I was younger, learning about Kohli inspired me to pick up a bat and become a cricketer myself. If his story could have that kind of impact on me, I know it could motivate thousands of other students across Aotearoa to chase their dreams.

Thank you for your time reading this letter. I truly hope you will consider this request seriously.
Yours sincerely,
DK
