Get ready, Minecraft fans! A brand-new trailer for A Minecraft Movie has just been released by Warner Bros., giving us a fresh look at the upcoming film.

Set to premiere on April 4, 2025, the movie follows a group of humans who are transported into the blocky, pixelated world of Minecraft after stepping through a mysterious portal.

The latest trailer introduces the Villagers, characters who keep their original game-like appearance rather than being played by real actors. Unlike the main human characters, the Villagers remain animated in a CGI style that matches the game’s signature blocky look.

The film’s story takes place in the Overworld, the main setting of Minecraft, where the lost humans must learn to survive and work together to find a way home. They are guided by Steve, one of the game’s original characters, played by Jack Black.

The cast also includes Jason Momoa as Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, Emma Myers as Natalie, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen as Henry.

Warner Bros. is producing the movie in collaboration with Mojang, the company behind Minecraft. With its mix of live-action and CGI, the film is expected to bring the popular game to life in an exciting new way.
