A man from Canada, Mitchell Rudy, set a new Guinness World Record by walking 38 dogs at the same time for over half a mile.
This amazing feat took place with the goal of promoting dog adoption and breaking the previous record of 36 dogs, which was held in Goesan, South Korea.
The dogs Rudy walked were from the Korean K9 Rescue shelter, an organisation that saves animals from difficult situations. “Some of these dogs were rescued from puppy mills, while others were saved from areas involved in the meat trade,” Rudy explained. His goal was to show that rescue dogs are just as loving and deserving of good homes as any other pet.
“We wanted to make these dogs feel like the champions they are,” he said. Rudy hopes his record-breaking walk will inspire more people to adopt rescue animals and give them the care they need.
This achievement highlights the importance of adoption and kindness toward animals, encouraging everyone to give rescued dogs a chance to find loving homes.
