Train Crash in India: Over 260 People Killed

A tragic train accident in India’s Odisha state has claimed the lives of at least 261 people, with over 650 others injured.

The incident occurred when three trains collided in the eastern part of the country.

Late on Friday evening, one passenger train derailed and crashed onto an adjacent track, where it was struck by another incoming train. At the same time, a freight train was stationary on the tracks. The collision caused significant damage and destruction.

Rescue operations at the crash site have now concluded, according to officials. However, the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. This incident is considered the worst train crash in India in the past century.
