Pizza Hut’s iconic buffet is back

Pizza Hut’s famous all-you-can-eat buffet is back in New Zealand, celebrating the chain’s 50th anniversary.

For four days, from September 26 to 29, a special “Pop-up Hut” is offering pizza, a salad bar, soft drinks, and a dessert station at Auckland’s City Works Depot. Tickets sold out quickly, with prices starting at $30 per person.

The buffet includes popular pizza flavours like Hawaiian, pepperoni, and vegetarian, along with a dessert bar featuring ice cream, chocolate mousse, and toppings like marshmallows and M&Ms. With just an hour to eat, diners are racing to enjoy the nostalgia of Pizza Hut’s dining experience.

This limited-time event brings back memories of the original Pizza Hut dine-in restaurants, which were popular in New Zealand until the last one closed in 2016. Proceeds from the pop-up will go to Hato Hone St John, supporting a good cause while celebrating Pizza Hut’s history.
