Jennifer Lopez cancels summer tour

Jennifer Lopez has canceled her 2024 North American tour, as confirmed by representatives for Live Nation. The tour was set to support her first solo album in a decade, “This Is Me… Now,” and its companion film.

The tour was scheduled to begin on June 26 in Orlando, Florida, and end in Houston on August 31. Live Nation stated that attendees who bought tickets through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds.

Lopez shared her feelings with fans through her OntheJLo website and newsletter, saying, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.” She promised to make it up to her fans and expressed her love for them.

“This Is Me… Now” was released earlier this year, marking 20 years since her hit album “This Is Me… Then.” Lopez described the new album as a miracle and “a second chance” to capture another significant moment in her life.
