All Blacks beat Fiji

The All Blacks have beaten Fiji 57-23 in the Steinlager Series first Test at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

Despite the scoreline, Fiji produced their finest performance in Tests against the All Blacks. For the first time in their history, the Flying Fijians has scored 23 points against the All Blacks. At one stage of the game Fiji was just trailing by 8 points.

Fiji impressed in the breakdown area as they won a number of turnovers and got their two tries from lineouts.

Dane Coles scored four tries for the All Blacks after coming on as a substitute in the second half. Their other tries were scored by Jordie Barrett, George Bridge, Will Jordan while David Havili got two tries.

Fiji will play the All Blacks at 7.05pm next Saturday.
