A 10-year-old girl named Tegan made an incredible discovery while visiting a beach in South Wales.

During her trip, Tegan found five large footprints that experts believe were left by a Camelotia dinosaur over 200 million years ago. The Camelotia was a long-necked dinosaur that lived during the late Triassic period.

The footprints Tegan found are 75 cm apart, showing a clear pattern of left and right steps. These footprints are now being studied by experts to confirm their origin. Tegan shared how exciting it was to stumble upon such a rare find, saying, “We were just out looking to see what we could find, and we didn’t think we’d find anything like this!”

Cindy Howells, a dinosaur expert from the area, believes that these footprints indeed belong to a Camelotia. This dinosaur was about 10 feet tall and could grow up to 16 feet long. It mainly walked on two legs but could also walk on all fours while eating plants. Very few dinosaur discoveries have been made in Wales, making Tegan’s find even more special.
