The 68th annual Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, 1 February, with a night full of music, celebration, and big winners from around the world.

Olivia Dean took home the award for Best New Artist, and also performed live on stage with her band, receiving a warm response from the audience.

Lola Young won Best Pop Performance for her hit single Messy, which she also performed in a powerful solo piano version during the ceremony.

A standout moment was the win for Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who were awarded Best Pop Duo for their version of Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked. Neither star was at the event to accept the prize, but it marked Grande’s third Grammy and Erivo’s second.

Billie Eilish added to her growing list of awards by winning Song of the Year for Wildflower, created with her brother and producer Finneas. This is her third time winning that category, having previously won in 2020 and 2021.

In a history-making moment, Golden from the animated film KPop Demon Hunters became the first K-Pop song ever to win a Grammy, taking the award for Best Song for Visual Media. It was also nominated for Song of the Year.

K-Pop idol Rosé teamed up with Bruno Mars for an energetic rock version of their hit APT, a song that had earned three Grammy nominations.

The night showed just how global and creative the music world has become, with artists from many backgrounds coming together to share their sound and celebrate their success.
