Scientists in Australia have discovered four new species of tiny plant-feeding bugs and named them after pop star Taylor Swift and her music.
The whole group of bugs has been given the name Swiftiephylus, after Taylor’s fans, the Swifties.
Each of the four new species also has its own special name inspired by Taylor, including one called Fearless and another called The Tortured Poets Department, after two of her albums.
The scientist who named the bugs hopes that using Taylor’s name will get more people interested in insects.
They believe insects are important, and that giving them names people already know and love could help more people learn why bugs need protecting too.
Taylor isn’t the only famous person to have had a creature named after them.
Over the years, several other stars have had animals or insects named in their honour by scientists.
So along with her many music awards, Taylor Swift can now add “insect namesake” to her long list of achievements.
