Guess what? A whopping 373 schools are taking part, with approximately 11,733 athletes competing in 25 different sports, like rugby, netball, and lots more. It’s a big sports festival!

What’s super cool is that some schools from other countries, like the Cook Islands, Fiji, and Samoa are joining in on the fun, too. That means kids get the chance to meet friends from different places!

Tauranga is ready for this exciting week. People have booked places to stay for a long time because they know how fun it is going to be. Even homeowners have let others stay in their homes during the games!

The AIMS Games are all about loving sports, exercise, and supporting your school teams. If you are participating, have fun!
