Exciting news for Peppa Pig fans—Mummy Pig is having another baby!
The announcement was made by Morwenna Banks, the voice of Mummy Pig, on Good Morning Britain. She shared that the newest member of the Pig family is expected to arrive this spring.
For over 20 years, Peppa Pig has followed the adventures of Peppa, her little brother George, and their parents. This will be the first time the family welcomes a new sibling, marking a major change in the show’s history.
Esra Cafer from Hasbro, the company behind Peppa Pig, said the new episodes will explore the challenges and joys of having a new baby in the family. Young viewers who are expecting a sibling of their own may relate to these stories and learn how to adjust to the change.
Mummy Pig will reveal her pregnancy during the final episode of the current series, airing on March 30—Mother’s Day in the UK. Fans won’t have to wait too long to meet the new piglet, as the baby will make its first appearance in the spring.
