The All Blacks have arrived in South Africa for a challenging rugby tour that will include several matches against strong teams.

New Zealand will play three tests against the Springboks, who have won the Rugby World Cup four times. The team will also face South African club teams before the test matches begin.

Thousands of All Blacks supporters welcomed the team during an open training session in Cape Town. The players said they were excited about the chance to experience a traditional rugby tour.

Coach Dave Rennie said the team wanted to enjoy their time in South Africa while preparing for tough matches.

Captain Codie Taylor said South African rugby is different from what New Zealand teams usually experience. He expects powerful forwards, strong set pieces and dangerous attacking players.

The tour is also part of the All Blacks’ preparation for the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.

A Year 8 student council asked students how they used technology at school. The results showed that most students used devices for research, typing up work, and checking information. A smaller number used them for games during breaks, but that was not their main purpose. Many students said they preferred devices when they needed to organise ideas quickly or find reliable facts.

The council used the survey to suggest better internet access and more charging stations around the school. They also reminded students that technology should support learning, not distract from it. The survey showed that devices are helpful when they are used with a clear purpose.
