AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand Plans Triple-Person Swing in Queenstown

AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand is seeking consent to develop Queenstown’s first triple-person swing at its Kawarau Bungy Bridge location.

The swing is designed to launch from a dedicated platform, allowing participants to swing 30-35 meters high across the Kawarau River.

It can accommodate single, tandem, or three-person rides, adding to the site’s existing bungy and zip ride experiences. The swing aims to offer an exhilarating yet accessible option for visitors who may not be ready for a bungy jump.

The company hopes to have the swing operational by spring 2025 pending successful consent applications.
