A young football player named Erling Haaland made history in the Premier League!

He plays for Manchester City and is only 22 years old. He scored his 35th goal of the season in a game against West Ham United. This means he broke the record for the most goals scored in a single Premier League season!

The old record was held by two famous players named Alan Shearer and Andy Cole. They scored their goals in 42 games, but Haaland only needed 33 games to break their record! He has five more games to score even more goals and make his record even better.

Haaland is not just a star in the Premier League, he’s also set records in the Champions League too! Just last week, he became the first player in England’s top league to score 50 goals in all competitions since 1931! That’s a really long time ago!

Haaland is a very talented player and we can’t wait to see what he does next!
