Champion ice skater Eszter Szombathelyi from Hungary set a new Guinness World Record by jumping rope 136 times in just one minute—while wearing ice skates.
The record-breaking performance took place on an ice rink in Sun Valley, where Szombathelyi amazed spectators with her skill and balance. She smashed the previous goal of 45 skips, easily claiming the title for the most rope skips on ice skates in one minute.
Szombathelyi is a well-known figure skater in Hungary, having won both the Junior and Senior National Champion titles.
“I want to inspire other ice skaters and performers to dream big,” she told Guinness World Records. “Everything is possible if we are brave enough to do it.”
She hopes to add exciting new acrobatic moves like rope skipping to figure skating shows, making them even more fun and spectacular.
Her achievement shows that creativity, courage, and lots of practice can lead to something amazing—even a world record!
