Manchester City beat their rivals, Manchester United, in an exciting FA Cup final at Wembley. Ilkay Gundogan, the captain of Manchester City, played a crucial role by scoring two goals to secure a 2-1 victory.

Manchester City had already won the Premier League title, and they were eager to match Manchester United’s achievement in 1999 by winning the FA Cup and the Champions League. Gundogan made an incredible impact by scoring a goal in just 12 seconds, breaking the record for the fastest goal in FA Cup final history. The previous record was set in 2009 when Louis Saha scored for Everton after 25 seconds against Chelsea.

However, Manchester United fought back and managed to equalize the score with a penalty in the 33rd minute. Bruno Fernandes converted the penalty kick after a video review determined that Jack Grealish had handled the ball.

In the second half, Gundogan once again proved his importance to the team by scoring a fantastic goal from a free-kick by Kevin de Bruyne. This goal secured the FA Cup for Manchester City, marking their seventh victory in the competition.

Manchester City now has a fantastic opportunity to achieve greatness. They have already won the Premier League and the FA Cup, and their next challenge is the Champions League final against Inter Milan. If they win, they will become only the second English club to win the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League all in one season.
