Bunnings Warehouse in Auckland’s Glenfield has undergone a magical transformation into “Hammerbarn,” leaving many DIY enthusiasts puzzled.
This change isn’t due to a new trend in hardware shopping but is a creative collaboration with the beloved children’s TV show, Bluey. The show, which features the adventures of a blue heeler puppy in Australia, has captured hearts worldwide since its debut in 2018.
The rebranding to “Hammerbarn,” the fictional store from a popular Bluey episode, is a nod to the show’s influence and its connection to Bunnings. The episode in question, which showcases a family trip to a hardware store, mirrors the real-life experiences of many Australian and New Zealand families visiting Bunnings, known for its wide range of home improvement items and the iconic sausage sizzle.
To celebrate this unique partnership, the Glenfield store will host Bluey-themed activities throughout February, including workshops, character meet-and-greets, and scavenger hunts. The highlight for many will be the chance to partake in a sausage sizzle on February 3 and 4, with proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
very interesting
I loved reading it because, I never knew that maybe chocolate might be gone in the future!
save the chocolate…
I enjoyed this reading because
it show what climate changes does!!
they might have to move most chocolate into a colder place, since the climate clock is getting low
so temperature might get higher.
i love chocolate
I’m allergic to dairy, but this makes me sad for my best friends all around NZ (don’t think it’s weird because I actually do). And my chocolate loving cousin, her name is Dana (I’m from South Korea and she told me how to spell her name in Korean but its not pronounced like Dana).
I know that there are chocolate lovers around the world so, poor them or if you like chocolate poor you (even though I’m allergic to dairy, or to make it easy dairy products: cheese, milk, butter etc).
