A 13-year-old boy in North Carolina got stuck inside a claw machine after trying to grab a prize!
According to Courtney C McGarry Weber, a spokesperson for Carowinds amusement park south of Charlotte, the boy climbed inside the Cosmic XL Bonus Game machine hoping to score some cool prizes. But he ended up getting more than he bargained for!
The officials at Carowinds were alerted just before 2pm on a Sunday that the boy was inside the machine. The medical response team had to come and unlock the machine to get the boy out. Luckily, he wasn’t hurt and was treated by first aid before being released to his guardian.
But that’s not the end of the story. The boy has been banned from the park for one year for attempted theft, Weber said. So let this be a lesson to all of you kiddos out there – no prize is worth getting into trouble for!
