A 23-year-old circus performer from Australia has achieved two Guinness World Records using an aerial hoop.

Charlotte “Charli” Meath, from Geelong, Victoria, set records for the most aerial hoop somersaults in one minute and the longest shoulder blade hang on an aerial hoop. She accomplished both feats on the same day at her gym.

Meath performed 53 somersaults in one minute, surpassing the previous record of 47. She explained that while she had experience with the skill, the challenge came from the physical strain and the dizziness it caused. “I could barely stand up after it,” she said.

For her second record, Meath endured 63.18 seconds hanging by her shoulder blades, demonstrating incredible strength and persistence. She shared that training alone was one of the hardest parts, as she had to rely on self-motivation.
