Olivia Vinson broke the world record for the most pull-ups done by a woman in 24 hours. The previous record was 4,081, set in 2021 by Paula Gorlo from Poland. Vinson nearly doubled that number by completing 7,079.

The idea started as a suggestion from her husband and coach. At first, she laughed it off, thinking it was impossible. But after checking the numbers, she believed she had a chance.

Vinson trained hard for three months before her first try. Unfortunately, she injured her arm halfway through and had to stop. She rested for two months before starting again.

Her second attempt was tough. Around hour 19, she felt sick from being tired, but she kept going. In the end, she averaged about five pull-ups every minute for 24 hours.

“I didn’t think this was possible at first,” Vinson said. “But I kept pushing and proved to myself what I could do.”
