A one-of-a-kind wooden car, crafted by a retired woodwork teacher over three summers in the mid-1980s, is set to be auctioned in the UK next month.

The car, a 1988 Hustler kit car, was built by John Brazier, who decided to use wood as the main material instead of the more common fibreglass.

The car served as the Brazier family vehicle for 13 years and is described as having meticulous attention to detail, with even components like the handbrake and steering wheel made from wood.

The car, known for never failing an MOT test during its working life, is expected to fetch over £2000 at auction.
