Imagine a ship as long as four city blocks, so huge it’s like a floating city! This ship, called the Icon of the Seas, is starting its very first big adventure from Miami today. It’s not just any ship; it’s the world’s biggest cruise ship, stretching almost as long as three football fields put end to end!

On this ship, you could find soccer star Lionel Messi and his teammates, who were part of a special ceremony to wish the ship a great journey. The Icon of the Seas is all about making vacation dreams come true, with something fun for everyone in the family, from kids to grandparents.

This ship is not just famous for being big. People are super excited about it online, especially because it offers a nine-month trip around the world that sounds like something out of a TV show!

What makes this ship even cooler is its neighborhoods, yes like a small town, spread across 20 decks! There are water slides that seem to touch the sky, swimming pools for splashing around, an ice rink, a theatre for shows, and over 40 places to eat and hang out. And guess what? Up to 7,600 people can join this floating adventure at once, along with a crew of 2,350 to make sure everyone has a great time.

But it’s not all just fun; this ship is also trying to be kind to our planet. It uses a special kind of fuel that’s better for the environment.
