Exciting news for fans of Middle-earth! Andy Serkis is set to return as Gollum in two new “Lord of the Rings” films, titled “The Hunt for Gollum.”
This time, Serkis will not only star in the films but also direct them. The project reunites him with Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens, the Oscar-winning creators of the original “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies, who will serve as producers.
The announcement was made by Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy from Warner Bros Motion Picture Group, who expressed their excitement about diving back into the world of Middle-earth with such a talented team.
The films are expected to be released in 2026 and are a collaboration between Warner Bros and New Line Cinema.
The screenwriting duo of Walsh and Boyens are currently working on the screenplay, which promises to bring fans on yet another thrilling adventure.
The production will take place in New Zealand, continuing the tradition of utilizing the stunning landscapes and the skilled local film industry talent, likely creating numerous job opportunities.
very interesting
I loved reading it because, I never knew that maybe chocolate might be gone in the future!
save the chocolate…
I enjoyed this reading because
it show what climate changes does!!
they might have to move most chocolate into a colder place, since the climate clock is getting low
so temperature might get higher.
i love chocolate
I’m allergic to dairy, but this makes me sad for my best friends all around NZ (don’t think it’s weird because I actually do). And my chocolate loving cousin, her name is Dana (I’m from South Korea and she told me how to spell her name in Korean but its not pronounced like Dana).
I know that there are chocolate lovers around the world so, poor them or if you like chocolate poor you (even though I’m allergic to dairy, or to make it easy dairy products: cheese, milk, butter etc).
