Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has become the most-subscribed channel on YouTube, surpassing the Indian record label T-Series. As of June 1, 2024, MrBeast holds the top spot, fulfilling a promise he made to outdo T-Series.

Back in 2019, T-Series overtook PewDiePie to become the most-subscribed channel. MrBeast, a 26-year-old YouTuber, vowed to reclaim the crown for PewDiePie in early 2023. At that time, MrBeast had 127 million subscribers, while T-Series had 233 million, making the gap seem huge.

However, in just a year and a half, MrBeast closed this gap. T-Series had sensed the competition, urging its followers to support them in a video on April 15. In response, MrBeast encouraged viewers to subscribe to him instead and even challenged T-Series’ CEO to a boxing match.

MrBeast’s content is famous for its extreme challenges and stunts, like being buried alive for a week and making contestants survive together for 100 days for cash prizes. These daring videos have helped him gain a massive following and achieve this milestone.
