Jonas Vingegaard wins Tour de France

Jonas Vingegaard of Denmark secured his second consecutive men’s Tour de France title by finishing safely in the main group during the final stage, which was won by Belgian rider Jordi Meeus.

Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar claimed the second position overall, while Briton Adam Yates took third place.

Belgian Jasper Philipsen earned the green jersey for the points classification, and Italian Giulio Ciccone took the polka dot jersey for the mountains classification.

Pogacar, the reigning Tour champion from 2020 and 2021, also won the white jersey for the best under-25 rider for the fourth consecutive year.

Vingegaard’s team, Jumbo-Visma, secured the victory in the teams classification.
