Chennai win Indian Premier League

The Chennai Super Kings have won the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament.

Led by Devon Conway, Chennai beat the Gujurat Titans. The contest cam down to the last ball, culminating in a five-wicket win for the Super Kings.

The Titans set a target of 214 runs in their 20 overs, primarily due to Sai Sudharsan’s impressive innings of 96 runs. However, rain interrupted the game, leading to Chennai’s innings being revised to 15 overs, with a revised target of 171 runs under the Duckworth Lewis Stern system.

Despite the challenging situation, Conway scored an impressive 47 runs from 25 deliveries to set up the victory.
