Meiji Co Ltd, a celebrated name in the confectionary world, is now introducing a unique product that combines technology with the delightful essence of their snacks.

Known for their delightful Hello Panda chocolates and a host of other popular treats, Meiji is taking a creative leap with their latest offering: chocolate mushroom-shaped wireless earbuds.

These earbuds draw inspiration from the ‘Kinoko no Yama’ snack, a favorite among many since its debut in 1975. Known as ‘Chocorooms’ in some markets, these treats feature a charming mushroom design with a combination of milk and dark chocolate. The new earbuds replicate this iconic shape to perfection, providing a whimsical nod to the beloved snack, right down to the snack box-themed case they come in.

But don’t let their playful appearance fool you; these earbuds are packed with advanced features. Meiji Co Ltd has equipped them with functionalities suitable for both music and phone calls, including a touch interface, talk mode, and even a speaker mode capable of real-time language translations. This innovative feature supports an impressive array of languages and dialects from around 74 countries, making these earbuds not only a novelty item but also a practical tool for communication in our globalized world.

Set to be released exclusively through the Makuake website at noon Japan time on March 26, these earbuds are a limited edition marvel. Priced at 29,800 yen (approximately $196), only 3,500 units will be available, each marked with its own serial number and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This blend of playful design and technological innovation marks a new chapter for Meiji Co Ltd, showcasing their ability to infuse the fun and creativity of their snacks into the tech world.
