The Black Caps have made history by beating South Africa in a Test series for the first time in 92 years.

The series win came after the New Zealand team beat South Africa beat South Africa by 7 wickets in Hamilton.

The star of the game was Kane Williamson, who scored an impressive 133 runs, not out, leading his team to the 2-0 series victory. The match was especially challenging because of the tricky pitch conditions, but Williamson showed great skill and calmness throughout the game.

Williamson’s achievement of scoring his 32nd Test century in this match set a new record, making him the fastest player to reach this milestone in just 172 innings. This tied him with Australian cricketer Steve Smith for the most Test centuries among current players.

The partnership between Williamson and Will Young was particularly important in the final stages of the match, with Young scoring a significant 60 runs not out.

The team’s successful chase of 267 runs set a new record at Seddon Park, surpassing the previous highest chase of 212 runs. This victory was not just about winning a match but also about breaking a long-standing record and showcasing the talent and teamwork of the New Zealand cricket team.
