In a bid to generate more revenue, New Zealand Rugby (NZR) has introduced NZR+, a digital platform offering fans exclusive behind-the-scenes content, bringing them closer to their favourite teams.

NZR+ debuts with two documentaries, chronicling the All Blacks and Black Ferns’ 2022 seasons. “Road to Redemption” showcases the Black Ferns’ Rugby World Cup journey, while the All Blacks’ 2022 season is presented through revealing content with key players and coaches.

Available globally and free to subscribe to, NZR+ will offer various content, including podcasts, Small Blacks TV, and historical team moments. NZR CEO Mark Robinson emphasized the fan-centric approach, aiming to deepen fan engagement through authentic content and storytelling.

All Blacks captain Sam Cane believes NZR+ can inspire aspiring players by providing insight into the players’ lives, while Black Ferns co-captain Ruahei Demant hopes to demonstrate the relatable and authentic side of being a Black Fern.
