A Texas-based company, Solo Stove, has successfully broken a Guinness World Record by bringing together 891 people to simultaneously make s’mores.

The event, named S’moresapalooza, took place in Grapevine, where Solo Stove provided 500 Mesa tabletop fire pits for participants to attempt the record for the most people making s’mores at once.

Previously, the record was held by the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, who gathered 801 people to create the iconic toasted marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker treats back in 2018.

To verify the new record, a Guinness World Records adjudicator was present at the event. This achievement was celebrated just in time for National S’mores Day, observed annually on August 10th.
