Morgan Spurlock, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker known for his 2004 documentary Super Size Me, has died at the age of 53. Spurlock’s family stated he passed away from complications related to cancer.
Super Size Me gained widespread attention for Spurlock’s month-long diet of only McDonald’s food to examine its health effects. The documentary sparked a major debate about fast food, earning Spurlock an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary.
In Super Size Me, Spurlock gained 11 kg in one month and faced serious health risks, prompting McDonald’s to discontinue their Super Size option. Despite McDonald’s defense of their menu, the film raised important questions about the food industry and healthier alternatives.
Spurlock also created the CNN series Morgan Spurlock’s Inside Man and earned an Emmy nomination for The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!.
Spurlock’s impactful films and thought-provoking documentaries leave a lasting legacy in the world of filmmaking.
very interesting
I loved reading it because, I never knew that maybe chocolate might be gone in the future!
save the chocolate…
I enjoyed this reading because
it show what climate changes does!!
they might have to move most chocolate into a colder place, since the climate clock is getting low
so temperature might get higher.
i love chocolate
I’m allergic to dairy, but this makes me sad for my best friends all around NZ (don’t think it’s weird because I actually do). And my chocolate loving cousin, her name is Dana (I’m from South Korea and she told me how to spell her name in Korean but its not pronounced like Dana).
I know that there are chocolate lovers around the world so, poor them or if you like chocolate poor you (even though I’m allergic to dairy, or to make it easy dairy products: cheese, milk, butter etc).
