Four British women are set to become the world’s oldest sisters with a combined age of 391 years!

Twins Freda and Doris have just celebrated their 101st birthdays and their younger sisters aren’t far behind – Gladys in 96 and Phyllis is 93!

During their lifetimes, the sisters have survived 2 World Wars and have lived through 19 prime ministers and 5 monarchs.

Between them the sisters have 11 children, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren! Unfortunately their other 2 sisters, May and Amy, passed away before they could share in the achievement.

Guinness World Records have not received an application from the sisters yet but they say that having the sisters hold the record would be great as the previous record for the highest combined age of 4 siblings is 388 years.
