Former Post Office worker, Beryl Walker, took over her grandson’s paper round 35 years ago when he decided to quit. Now at 88 years old, Beryl is still doing the paper round in Gloucester.

Beryl works 6 days a week and cycles over 8 miles a day, getting up at 6am every morning to deliver papers to homes in Gloucester.

After delivering over a million newspaper on her bike and delivering some of the biggest news stories of the last 3 decades, Beryl has been awarded the Guiness World Record for oldest paper girl in the world!
