The world’s oldest hockey is now on sale on eBay for more than $35,000.

Mark Presley bought the hockey stick for $1000 from a retiring barber in 2008. The barber had been keeping the stick on display in his shop for more than 30 years

The hockey stick was initially listed for $10,000 on eBay but the price had increased to $35,300 in 5 days.

The current price is still below Mark’s reserve bit, although he has not revealed the minimum amount he will accept for the stick.

Mark had the stick analysed to determined how old it is and researchers have determined that the hockey stick is approximately 180 years old based on the rings in the stick which is made from a sugar maple.
