The world’s oldest cat has died in Texas, USA, aged 30.

The cat, named scooter, was a Siamese cat and was had just been named by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s oldest living cat.

Doctor Tricia Latimer, a local vet, says Scooter had lived to the equivalent of about 136 human years.

Scooter enjoyed travelling and had visited  45 of the 50 states in America.

He also enjoyed getting blow-dried after baths and snacking on chicken every other day.
