Have you got what it takes to be the World’s Best Santa Claus?

Every November since 2001, teams of jolly men from all over the globe have gathered in Switzerland to compete in Clau Wau, The Santa Claus World Championship.

These pretend Santa’s are challenged with 10 tasks. These include gingerbread house decorating, making sculptures in the snow, chimney climbing and sleigh racing.

But winning this competition is by no means an easy feat. The chimneys they climb are incredibly high and full to the brim with presents and the downhill sleigh track has pine trees that the Santa’s must manoeuvre around.

Of course, the Santa’s must also prove they can perform the most important task of collecting, packing and delivering presents in traditional style.

The ‘Santa Claus World Champion’ wins a $7,000 prize. Do you think the Santa at your local mall has what it takes to win this prestigious award?
